Brisbane’s Award-Winning Acting School..

Delivering excellence in training from day one

Brisbane’s Award Winning Acting School, The Actors Workshop Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (National Provider Number 30093). The Actors Workshop has been delivering Acting Lessons in Brisbane since 1994. Our Advanced Diploma in Film, Television and Theatre Acting course is a Nationally Recognised Training course (code: R10556NAT)

From day one students are involved in an extremely high ratio of practical training and performance. This includes weekly shoots of film and television scenes, or preparing for in-house productions for theatre each term to a public audience. Original short films and self devised theatre are produced at the completion by of the Advanced Diploma course. Additionally, the work experience program allows students to apply and refine their skills. This takes their practical experience and competencies outside of the training context and into the workplace environment. As well as fostering professional networks, the work experience program reinforces a real world application of the students’ training and develops their professional practice, confidence and competency.

The school stands by its commitment to quality over quantity through maintaining an enrolment cap of students. By keeping the enrolment numbers low, our students are assured the best training and support available. The students indicate that their reasons for choosing the school is the reputation for quality training, individual development, business acumen, small student numbers and the non institutional environment.
